From raw point clouds to architect-ready terrain models

Geospatial Data Processing & AI-Driven Analysis

jps models production applies AI-native workflows to geospatial data processing — from LiDAR-to-design terrain models for architects to production-grade BIM outputs for contractors and consultants.

Raw scan data is only useful once it is registered, cleaned and turned into something a design team can open. We take point clouds from terrestrial laser scanners, mobile systems and drone LiDAR and turn them into registered datasets, terrain surfaces and scan to BIM models. Capture can be arranged through our survey partners for 3D laser scanning in Dubai and across the UAE, or we can process data your own team has already collected. Because processing is done remotely, we support projects in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC with the same workflow and the same senior-level quality control.

    What we deliver

    Equipment & accuracy

    • Capture is carried out with survey-grade terrestrial laser scanners, mobile/drone LiDAR and GNSS equipment through our vetted partner network; processing uses industry-standard point cloud and CAD/BIM software alongside our AI workflows.
    • Accuracy is specified per project to suit the deliverable and confirmed in our proposal.
    • BIM level of development: LOD 200–400, agreed per project
    • Where local licensing is required, fieldwork is delivered with licensed local survey partners.

    Typical projects

    Who it's for

    • Architects and landscape designers who need a terrain or site model they can design on
    • Contractors who need as-built models and deviation checks against design
    • Consultants and engineers needing point cloud processing without an in-house team
    • Developers and facility managers who need accurate records of existing buildings

    How it works

    1. 01Scope. We agree the area, level of detail, coordinate system and file formats you need.
    2. 02Capture or data hand-over. Scanning is arranged through our partners, or you send us your existing raw data.
    3. 03Processing. Registration, cleaning, AI-assisted classification and modelling.
    4. 04Quality control. Senior review of registration, geometry and completeness before delivery.
    5. 05Delivery and support. Files in your chosen formats, with a short report and follow-up support.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is scan to BIM?

Scan to BIM means turning a laser scan point cloud into a BIM model, usually in Revit or IFC, that shows the building as it really is rather than as it was drawn.

Can you process point clouds we have already captured?

Yes. We regularly carry out point cloud processing on data captured by other teams, as long as the raw scans or a registered cloud are available.

Do you offer 3D laser scanning in Dubai?

Yes. On-site capture in Dubai and the rest of the UAE is arranged through our survey partners, and processing, modelling and QC are handled by us.

Can you work on projects in Saudi Arabia?

Yes. Processing is done remotely, so we support projects in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province. On-site capture is arranged per project.

    How long does processing take?

It depends on project size and the level of detail required. Turnaround is agreed upfront and depends on project size; we respond to enquiries within one business day.
